As the 8848 collective - the initiators and executors of the thoughts behind this piece - stands on the borders of a concert promoting group, a label, several bands and artistic projects, musical concept and intentionally improvised self-realization, this work avoids an accurate description and widens the principle of a musical album towards a collective DIY project and an inter-subjective artistic zine.
The existence of this web of 24 artists, photographers, graphic designers, poets, philosophers and writers is based on their relationship to Lebanon, its members, music and ideals, which the group as a whole represents. This connection reflects the basic complexity of the music of Lebanon, which also was the only guide for the individual artists.
